2) How do I take care of my waistbeads?
Because of the materials waistbeads are made with, care is extremley simple. As long as you don't tug too hard they should last quite a while. High intensity activities such as running or strength training, can make the piece wear a bit faster, but these can be worn in virtually any other setting and situation.
3) How do I measure for the right size?
The best way to know what size you are is to measure yourself with measuring tape! However, below there is a chart that offers a guide on how to get the right size for you! highly recommend viewing that before purchasing just to be safe. :)
4) Are waist beads adjustable?
The waistbeads made here at Genus Osiris are not adjustable. They are made to your body and meant to last with YOU for a long while. So the materials are a lot sturdier and therefore don't stretch or adajust. Waist chains and other adornments are!
5) Can I shower or swim with waist beads on?
Yes you can! the materials are water resistant and won't mold or trap odor so shower away!...please
6) Do waist beads help with weight loss or waist training?
no baby. This idea comes from the fact that traditionally tied ones and ones with clasps like mine, don't stretch. So the waist bead creates a cinching effect on the body. Some bodies, over time, adjust to the cinching, but this is fat distribution and not weight lost. I love this question everytime, very common misconception
7) What materials are used in your waist beads?
I make it my mission to invest in quality glass beads, galvanized gold beads, quality silvers and golds. The point is that you actually wear the hell outta of this piece ya feel me? And I don't think you can do that with plastic

9) How do I put on and take off waist beads?
My waistbeads have a very small but sturdy barrel clasp. Which means you twist them on and off
10) How long do waist beads last?
The typical life span of a waist bead is between 8 months to 4 years ( most lasting beyond that). I made a set for my mom three years ago and they're still going strong!
11) Can men wear waist beads?
Yes! baby please yes they can. That's what's so beautiful about wiastbeads, they aren't limited to any one gender, adorn yourself how you see fit!
12) What is the return/exchange policy?
Genus Osiris will do (1) return/exchange within the first 30 days if it is damaged while wearing. Send Genus Osiris a picture and we'll arrange for you to get a new one!

To reiterate, the most accurate way to measure yourself is with a tape measure (it's inexpensive and easy to find). However if you don't have one handy this can guide you to a measurement that will most likely work.
